Is Your Brand Ready to Smash?

It’s time to go public with your superpower. You need your customers to not only know who you are, but to call on you when they help. But the problem is, you lack authority and exposure, your business image is Clark Kent, easily ignored and soon forgotten.

Phase 01

You are branding right now, every day and every second. You’re making an impression in people’s minds with every touchpoint, visual and message. Is it the right impression? Is it intentional?

Are you wanting to be seen as the authority and influencer in your niche? You need a proper strategy to get you there. Look at the brands you respect and admire, they got there intentionally. The right plan informed by clarity will give you the roadmap to quickly establish you and make the right impression. An effective brand strategy can involve an easy to follow action plan, coaching or even team workshops. The solutions are not cookie-cutter, because you’re not.

Phase 02

We do judge books by their covers, we’re wired that way. The best brands understand that about their visuals and play to win. You can’t share your message until you have your ideal client’s attention.

If you want the interest of your niche, you need to create branding that is attractive and of specific interest to them. You can’t match your competitors, you need to stand out and even surpass them. A strong visual brand does that. It’s built on who you are and how you want to be perceived. It’s your brand’s promise visualized. Brand Identity is comprised primarily of two key components: a Visual Identity (logo, color palette, typography style, photography style, graphic elements) and a Verbal Identity (style, tone, manner, voice).

Phase 03

The final phase is about delivery, and how your brand will show up in the world. The right strategy doesn’t come out of a box, it goes back to the discoveries made in the strategy phase.

With a solid Brand Identity that is informed by a clear Brand Strategy the next phase is to express your brand through marketing to influence the right people, generate more leads, monetize your services and products, and position your brand as the go-to in your industry. This could be by going all in on one platform or strategically creating a presence across multiple locations. Brand Delivery can include things like websites, products, advertising, sales funnels, events, social media, video.

“Three variables that help a brand’s success is fresh, out-of-the-box thinking, compelling design that disrupts the white noise of marketing ecosystems, and having inspired, enthusiastic brand ambassadors that can tell a brand’s story in a compelling way. With Paul, you get all three. If you’re a future client of Paul’s, you will also benefit personally from his “head smack” creative philosophy and the Aussie hospitality typical of other folks from ‘down under’.”

VP, Strategist & Operations, Mad Genius

“The number one quality that stands out about Paul from the moment you begin working with him is his ability to listen intently and draw from his deep well of experience to land on smart solutions quickly. That is an asset Paul brings to every challenge because he knows that no matter how beautiful and strong a design may be, if it doesn’t help a brand achieve its business goal it’s not good brand strategy. It’s that discernment that elevates his keen sense of design to another level and makes his ability to mentor Junior Designers so valuable. He approaches each project—from developing brand identities to designing looks for web sites and marketing campaign in every medium—with a firm understanding of the goal, the timetable, the cross-discipline needs and the budget to keep projects on track for his clients and his team. In Discovery Meetings and Presentations, Paul is articulate, well-prepared and adept at thinking on his feet. He never asks anything of his team that he isn’t prepared to do himself, and he always stays calm and upbeat in the face of daunting challenges. Paul also stays on top of evolving trends in Marketing to keep his skills relevant, as well as those of the Creatives he mentors. Paul’s combination of fresh creativity, strategic acumen, unquestionable work ethic and collaborative spirit is rare. He is a true asset to any team or project!”
